Dhurringile Prison expansion works begin
Works have begun on the Dhurringile Prison expansion project. Located 160km north of Melbourne, the minimum security prision currently houses 214 prisoners. The $17 million expansion will add a futher 54 beds to the facility.

Heritage Design for Rooftop Solar Farm

Half a million metres of Optical Design
Daly International has reached a significant milestone in the design of optical fibre networks for the telecommunications industry. While undertaking a routine audit of our propriety database, specialist fibre design manager, Rob Panovski realised that we had completed over half a million metres of underground fibre design for the Telecommunications industry over the past 18 months.

Monitoring Australia's Airways
Airservices Australia is a government-owned corporation providing air traffic control management services to the aviation industry. In a region covering 11 percent of the world’s surface, Airservices manages air traffic operations for around 63 million passengers on more than four million domestic and international flights every year.
Daly International has been appointed by Airservices Australia to undertake detailed audits of 130 Airservices navigational towers across Australia. The scope of work has included site survey, geotechnical survey, site condition reporting, access survey, environmental assessment, hazardous materials survey, Electro Magnetic Radiation (EMR) survey and Structural Integrity Analysis.
Daly International has entered in to a three year term contract with Airservices Australia and looks forward to a long term business relationship. Daly International is continuing to build a quality portfolio of infrastructure audit projects. Current and recent infrastructure audit clients include Optus, Qantas, Telstra, FESA, Ericsson and the NSW Police.

VIVIDWIRELESS launches 4G Network in Perth, West Australia
Seven Network Limited (ASX: SEV) subsidiary Vividwireless has completed its $50 million roll out of Australia's only 4G wireless broadband network in Perth, Western Australia. Vividwireless launcehd in March, 2010, allowing Seven Network to further strengthen its digital platform for the delivery of content in multicast and broadcast formats.
Daly International played an intergral role as a network deployment partner to Vividwireless in providing base station site acquisition, town planning and civil design services for the network. The new network broadcasts from the 130 base stations that cover the metropolitan area of Perth, and was successfully deployed against critical timeframes.
4G (4th generation technology) is the latest standard in wireless technology supporting high speed broadband and full mobility. 4G provides a comprehensive and secure solution where services, such as data, streamed multi media and voice are provided to users at much higher speeds compared with previous generations of 2G & 3G.
Vividwireless has plans to expand its coverage to a national 4G network.

Wind Ventures Ltd Appoints Daly International
Wind Ventures Ltd. appoints Daly International to provide a range of project management and property based professional services in connection with the development of wind farms throughout England.
Based in the UK, Wind Ventures (www.windventures.co.uk) a wholly owned subsidiary of Olive Green Energy (www.ogenergy.com) has been established to develop onshore Wind Energy projects in the UK and Europe.

T Mobile & 3 Joint Venture selects Daly International for its "BT Ethernet Project"
T-Mobile and 3 UK, through their joint venture company, Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (MBNL), have signed a five-year managed network solutions agreement with BT to provide high-speed, next-generation links connecting 7,500 mobile base station sites on their consolidated 3G infrastructure.
MBNL has has selected Daly International to carry out electrical and space provisioning work on sites in readiness to accept the BT Ethernet equipment. The works are to be provided throughout the whole of the UK.
